Kevin,
I just wanted to tell you the car was awesome
yesterday. It was hooking and trying to set the car on
the bumper!!! I let off on the first pass. It came up
quick. I let off and it came down and got the headers but
didnt bend anything luckily. So I ran a little more
air in the tires to try to get them to spin a lil bit. It
would be spinning but wheeling at the same time tires
probably about 1.5ft up in the air. Cutting 1.30-1.31's
that way.
Car ran a 9.24@144 on the
150's with a 1.307 60' in 93* heat and track temp of 135*
I have a vid soon to be up. Then yesterday evening
I ran a 10.5 1/8 race.
First pass car tried to get up high again and I let off
the n2o button and cut a 1.39 60'.
Second pass I put more air in the tires and cut a 1.30
60'
Third pass no changes ran a 1.30 60'.
Last pass I let a lil air out of the tires and planned to
ride this one out. Cut a
1.302 60' ON THE REAR TIRES!!!!!!! Woohoo!!!!
Then disaster struck. The car in the other lane won the
race just after the 1/8 he crossed the center line in
front of me and I nearly t-boned him. His car bounced off
the wall and clipped my drivers rear quarter panel
and put me into the wall also.
I am ok and will fix the car or build another. Here are

I went to Sooner Motorplex in Lawton, OK to run in the
6.40 1/8 class.
I had to use the baby pills and let off early to
run the number.
First pass I ran it through to see where Iwas at. it was
in the heat! car ran better every pass.

I went to an
1/8 track and ran 3 motor passes and 2 100 shot passes.
1st pass off trailer MOTOR - short shifted first @ 6000
1.5274 60ft
4.4007 330ft
6.8101 @ 101.95
2nd pass fixed some carb trouble MOTOR - shifted into
second when let off tranny brake.

3rd hot lap after 2nd pass - let out of it cause car went
right, corrected and got back in it.

4th pass on 100 shot leaving at 2500 foot brake. i got
scared i guess and lifted for .15 sec at 1.04 seconds
into the pass according to the data logger. bottle
pressure at 1000psi..... i prefer 1200psi

5th pass 100 shot leaving at 2500 foot brake. car pulled
awsome wheelie and i let off after the car came down and
got back into it. bottle pressure still at 1000psi.

all i can say is WOW what a rush. this thing is hooking
like crazy!!!!!!!!!!!! Car is still squating to the right
side still but seems to be going straight mostly. Maybe a
little movement to the right.
Thats just a short update. It's time to start tuning this
thing now that it is going straighter!!!!
I THINK ITS TIME FOR A REAL ARB!!!!!!
