Pics of my 12 day vacation to Italy

Here's Phil "Opa" Walker doing what he THINKS he does best.. dancing..

My room in Florence.

No, the water does NOT swirl in the opposite direction in Europe!
Yes, I checked.

For those wondering were I went that one late night by myself until midnight this is it.
I sat on the steps of the church listening to my I-Pod and watched people.

More blurry pics, I gotta stop drinkin' before photo day.

Here is the typical size car which makes a Mini Cooper look big!

Just testing the camera out.. =)

...and still testing..=)
What!? I have to make sure it works when I want it too.

Here's Shannon after I threatened to take her beer.

...and this is Shannon after I did!
Learn from my mistake, DON'T mess with Shannons beer!

Shannon, Robert and I after dinner heading to the Be-Bop club.

I love this pic.

Inside the Be-Bop club! Good music but I didn't understand the Italian lyrics.

Coming to you LIVE from Florence Italy is Phil Walker on KFOR, Lincoln NE.
Phil did a LIVE Broadcast from our resturant!

Nancy and Bob in their usual pose.

This art was made from flower petals laying on the ground.
See what some of you are missing when you go to bed early!

Chalk art at night.

Finally in Sorento.

King Robert on his accordian.

Itsokay, Tsokay, Tsokay, Tsokay, Tsokay..
Our Italian friends whom we tried to comunicate with..
Despite the language barrier we had a blast with them.

The Amalfi coast!

Our tour bus was too big to make the turns on this road so we boarded a smaller one.

More pizza.. Imagine that..

Two items I purchased and had shipped back home.
I wanted some items for my Italian themed kitchen and these should work.

Shannon doing her best "Italian Vanna White" impression.
Shannon, use two hands next time.=)
Here is another one of my purchases that will be shipped back.

On a daily basis Opa stole food from the dining area to feed the wild cats.

This is Pompei.

Inside the local whore house you see the "menus" above the door.

I told ya!

Hmmm, I wonder what goes on inside this room?

..and this one.

Why are these guys smiling?
The house is not in business any more.

How do you find the whore house?
You follow the arrow! No kidding!
=)

I'm NOT going to ask..

If there was a stray dog around Shannon had a new friend.

Here's our path to the top of Mount Vesuvius and it was a 1/2 hour power walk to the top.

Shannon and Nancy falling for my "How was that again" line.
My only mistake was I forgot they were carrying sticks with them.
Hey, that tickles!! =)

Jeri and Shannon bringing up the rear during the power walk up the volcano.

Yes, it's still active.
:}

The last supper begins with this.

The three partners in crime just couldn't keep their hands off the wait staff!
=)

..or was it the wait staff couldn't keep their hands off the ladies?
=)

Surprise! It's pork.. and it was awful!
Warning, DON"T eat the meat in Italy!

Ol' twinkle toes Opa still believing he can dance.
He's even sober in these photos!

I'm not sure what was so funny but I was laughing just so I didn't feel left out.

IMO, this picture sums up the entire trip!

Naturally this is my favorite picture.

Nella and Shannon.
Nella was our bartender at the motel.
She made kamakzis for me (which are NOT girlie drinks) after I told her how.

At some point during lunch Shannon must have swallowed a feather b/c she couldn't stop laughing..

The Three Amigos (Deb, Jeri, Shannon) striking a pose.

This is a GREAT Picture!

Stiiiilllll laughing...

...and stiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiillllllllllllllllllllllllll laughing....

Deb striking a pose but not laughing.

Jeri NOT striking a pose but laughing. :}

Shannon and Opa posing for pics.

One, Two, Three, EEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLL!

Phil "Wolfman Jack" Walker doing a broadcast at KFOR summing up our Tuscany trip....

...with his sidekick, ME, on the other mic!
You should have heard me, I was GREAT!
=)

I was sooooo good I even got a phone number from a caller afterwards!
But she was passing on a phone number to someone who could frame our artwork.
Talking about a final ending to a great trip!

The Below pics are from Nancy.. THANK YOU!

Nancy was being SNEEEAAKKYYY....
=)

At least Twinkle Toes Opa isn't dancing this time..=)

Guess which one is me!

Obviously someone didn't count to three!

Something I made for our fearless leader.
Thank You Phil. I had a great time!
